Mary Lou Brink

Mary Lou Brink got her journalistic chops in the bustling newsrooms of the Midwest, where tight deadlines, curious minds and a commitment to truth shaped her approach to storytelling. Over 25 years and four publications, she reported, edited, led team coverage and eventually steered digital operations for two news sites before becoming Business Editor at The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Those years sparked her superpower: turning complex ideas into clear, human stories that connect.

After decades championing clarity and audience-first communication, Mary Lou moved into communications agency life as Senior Director of Content at Falls & Co., where for five years she guided integrated marketing efforts, created content for a wide-range of clients and built content systems that helped brands show up smarter and more meaningfully.

Catalyst Content Lab now marks her natural next chapter — a place where her newsroom instincts, strategic brain and love of mission-driven storytelling come together to help agencies and small businesses communicate with purpose and heart.
